Samsung will soon release the beta version of One UI 7.0, which will bring a lot of new animations and transitions.

Here's What We Know

According to an Ice Universe insider, the new version of the interface will include a wallpaper shrinking effect when the screen is switched on and a bouncing effect when unlocked. A spring bounce animation will appear in the quick access bar, and non-linear floating animations will be used when launching apps.

In addition, when returning from an app, the app menu will show an icon magnification effect, and when quickly opening and closing apps, the interface will look smooth thanks to parallel animations.

One UI 7.0 will also show full animations when moving apps in the side navigation bar and micro-animations when tapping buttons in settings. In addition, Samsung will add new effects for widgets, such as a music player on the lock screen, and elastic animations for real-time notifications.

The beta version of One UI 7.0 will first be available for the Galaxy S24 series in South Korea and the US, and then in other countries. The final version of the interface is expected to be released in early 2025.
