Indie studio Sabotage announced that its game Sea of Stars, which won the Best Indie of the Year nomination at The Game Awards 2023, has gathered a large audience.

Here's What We Know

Sea of Stars, which was released in August 2023, has already been played by 6 million players. This is taking into account the fact that the game was available on Game Pass and PlayStation Plus Extra. However, it is not known how many copies have been sold during this time.

Also on 12 November, the game received the Dawn of Equinox update. It introduces new combat elements, including secret locks to counter the spells of new enemies and combo points that are now stored between battles. The prologue has been reworked to include combat from the start, along with a new cinematic scene highlighting a key moment in the story.

Flashback

Sea of Stars is an RPG inspired by classic games of this genre. The story tells of two Solstice Children who will combine the powers of the Sun and Moon to perform Eclipse Magic, the only power capable of countering the horrific creations of an evil alchemist known as The Fleshmancer. The game has a turn-based combat system, a variety of locations to explore, nice 2D visuals, and a lot of activities.

Where To Play

The game is available on PC, Switch, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series.
