The Witcher franchise creator Andrzej Sapkowski has finally revealed the title and some details of the new book about the famous white-haired monster killer Geralt of Rivia.

Here's What We Know

The writer revealed that the book will have the Polish title Rozdroże Kruków, which literally translates to "Crossroads of Ravens", but there is no official literary title for the novel yet.

As expected, the book will be a prequel to the main events of the saga and will tell about the adventures of Geralt, in those times when he was very young.

The events of the book tell the story of how the Witcher, who has just finished his training, goes out into the big world for the first time and starts hunting monsters. He is armed with two swords and the principles of the written witch code, but reality proves too harsh for them to be relevant.

As previously announced, the first section of Andrzej Sapkowski's new novel will be published in the Polish magazine Nowa Fantastyka tomorrow - 22 November. It is noteworthy that it was in this edition that Sapkowski published the very first story in The Witcher series.

The novel "The Witcher: Crossroads of Ravens" will go on sale in Poland on 1 December 2024, but when the book will be available in other countries - it is unknown.

The cover of the book will also grace the Nowa Fantastyka issue with the first chapter of the new novel:
