On 22 November, Sony launched Black Friday, offering discounts on consoles, gamepads, hundreds of games, and PlayStation Plus subscriptions. And it is the latter that we would like to talk about the most.
Here's What We Know
Three annual PS Plus plans: Essential, Extra, and Deluxe, received a 20% to 30% discount. But which tariff is the best to choose?
- Essential: The basic tier that provides access to multiplayer, three free games per month, exclusive discounts on the PlayStation Store, and cloud storage.
- Extra: In addition to the Essential features, offers a catalogue with hundreds of PS4 and PS5 games that can be downloaded and played at no extra charge. This is the level for those who want to get a lot of games without paying for them.
- Deluxe: Includes all the benefits of Extra and adds a catalogue of classic PS1, PS2 and PSP games, as well as access to demos of new games.
The annual Essential costs $64 (instead of $80), Extra will cost $101 (instead of $135), and Deluxe is $112 instead of $160. However, the discount is only valid for those who do not have an active PS Plus subscription.
