Threads now supports viewing videos in landscape orientation
The Threads app has a new feature that allows users to watch videos in landscape orientation.
Here's What We Know
After the latest update that made custom channels available, you can now watch horizontal videos without any problems.
Previously, videos in the app could not be displayed in landscape orientation, even if you tried to expand them to full screen. Now, this feature has been fixed, and you can now view videos and photos in horizontal mode.
This new feature was confirmed by the official Threads account after users noticed the change. In addition, Meta has recently announced that it is introducing a channel creation feature for all users. The latest changes also include an algorithm update that will prioritise content from accounts you follow.
Threads, which has more than 200 million monthly active users, has announced that advertising will be introduced on the platform starting next year. The update is available for iPhones with iOS 15.1 or later.
