Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi K80 Pro will get a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, IP68/IP69 protection and other improvements

Xiaomi has confirmed the key specifications of its new Redmi K80 Pro flagship, which will be unveiled on 27 November.

Here's What We Know

The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and also includes a D1 gaming chip, dual-loop 3D cooling for efficient heat management and the latest Rage Engine 4.0 that will deliver stable 120 fps in gaming mode for supported games. The design also features an ultra-thin 1.9mm thick bottom bezel, as well as a side metal frame and Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass 2.0 protective glass.

The Redmi K80 Pro features a 2K resolution display with an in-screen ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The smartphone also supports 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging to quickly recharge the 6000mAh battery. In addition, the device is IP68/IP69 dust and water resistant. More details will be revealed during the presentation of the Redmi K80 line of smartphones in a few days.
