Rumours have been circulating for some time now that Sony is working on remasters of old God of War titles, and a recent statement by the actor who gave Kratos his voice and movements in the last two games of the series caused misunderstandings. So let's find out what really happened.

Here's What We Know

Actor Chris Judge, who played Kratos, said the following during a live broadcast on TikTok: "The next two weeks are going to be full of announcements and all kinds of good news. Thank you so much for joining us and we'll talk to you soon, boy."

The last word, because that's how Kratos calls his son Atreus in God of War 2018, seemed to hint at a God of War-related announcement, and so popular gaming accounts on Twitter started making announcements that something about God of War was coming soon.

However, Chris said that this is absolutely not true. He will make an important announcement in the near future, but he guarantees that it will not be related to God of War.

So we can only wonder what Chris will show us, but given Sony's love for remasters/remakes, we will see the re-releases of the previous God of War titles at some point.
