European and US OnePlus Open users will receive the OxygenOS 15 update next week

OnePlus has announced that OnePlus Open smartphones in the US and Europe will start receiving the update to Android 15 next week.

The global update has already started in India and will soon roll out to other markets. The update includes a new version of OxygenOS 15, which adds a host of new features and improvements. These include an industry-first parallel processing architecture that improves multitasking and smoothness on the device.

It also adds parallel animations for different scenarios, AI Retouch for better photos and AI Notes for better notes. The new Flux themes will allow users to create unique lock screens and home screens. Live notifications similar to Apple's Dynamic Island have also been added.

The update will roll out in phases and all users should receive the update within a week of the rollout, unless OnePlus decides to suspend the update for any reason.
