Garmin releases major update for Descent Mk2i with new diving features

Garmin has released a new update for the Descent Mk2i, which adds a number of new features and improvements.

The software update to version 26.30 includes important changes for divers. One of the main new features is improved wireless connectivity underwater. Thanks to the new SubWave feature, users can now receive notifications from other divers even when they are underwater using a compatible Descent T2.

The new feature makes it possible to send messages not only to groups, but also to individual users.

The display of heart rate after a dive has also been improved. The watch continues to support connection to devices for monitoring the level of air in cylinders, both for the user and his diving partners.

Garmin also fixed a few bugs and added minor enhancements to improve usability.
