Mercedes-Benz has released a new app for the Apple Watch that allows owners of the brand's cars to control various functions of their vehicles right from their wrist.

Here's What We Know

The app allows users to monitor charge or fuel levels, remotely lock and unlock the car, check if the windows are closed, and find the car in a car park using navigation directions. In areas without mapping, users can use a virtual compass to locate the car.

The app is compatible with Apple Watch running watchOS 9 or later and requires the Mercedes-Benz mobile app to be installed on the iPhone. It only works with 2019 and newer Mercedes-Benz models. Mercedes-Benz joins other automakers such as Honda, Ford and Volvo that already offer similar features for their customers.
