Garmin releases beta update 21.19 for Forerunner smartwatch with new features

Garmin has announced the release of a new public beta version of its Forerunner smartwatch software.

Here's What We Know

The 21.19 update is almost ready for release and will soon be available to all users, barring any major issues during testing.

This update, which is available for Forerunner 165, 255, 265, 955 and 965 models, includes stability improvements over the previous version 21.18.

Other new features in the beta include moon phase view, meditation (for most models), and automatic lactate threshold and functional threshold power calculation.

How To Switch It On

To download the update, users need to go to the settings menu on their device. Additionally, for those planning to purchase the Forerunner 165, there is currently a discount of up to $199.99 on Amazon as part of Black Friday promotions.
