Huawei Watch D2 smartwatch for blood pressure measurement presented at Medica 2024

At the Medica 2024 exhibition in Düsseldorf, Huawei presented the new Huawei Watch D2 smartwatch.

This device, which has received medical certification, offers a round-the-clock blood pressure measurement function.

The watch is equipped with a wrist pressure cuff and features ECG analysis, GNSS positioning, and exercise tracking. The Watch D2 has already been certified under the European Medical Device Regulation (EU MDR) and has been approved in China.

The watch was positively received by medical experts at Medica 2024, where they emphasised the importance of measuring blood pressure on the wrist.

Huawei Watch D2 was launched in various markets in September and has already received a software update.

The Huawei Watch D2 is available for customers in Europe, including Germany, where it can be purchased for €399 on Amazon.
