Xiaomi 14 gets global HyperOS 2 update: new AI features and improved performance

Xiaomi has started rolling out the global HyperOS 2 update for Xiaomi 14, which is based on Android 15.

The 6.3GB update (version OS2.0.4.0.VNCMIXM) brings several innovations, including an updated interface with dynamic wallpapers, desktop customisation, and a three-dimensional weather system.

In addition, it includes artificial intelligence-based tools such as writing, translation, voice-to-text, and real-time translation assistants.

HyperOS 2 improves performance with HyperCore technology, which reduces CPU downtime and improves graphics.

The HyperConnect feature enables seamless data exchange between Xiaomi devices and even allows you to transfer files between Xiaomi and Apple devices in China. The update also improves security with end-to-end encryption and strong data protection through a dedicated Trusted Execution Environment (TEE).
