Half of the Assassin's Creed Shadows team are new to the world of game development

Assassin's Creed Shadows is currently one of the most scandalous Ubisoft games. Discussions and controversies around the game have been going on for some time, and not long before the announcement, and after the game release, they will become even more. And now there is more information about the game's developers.

Here's What We Know

During a speech at the 2024 Overseas Development Summit (XDS24), Assassin's Creed executive producer Marc-Alexis Côté said that after the pandemic, many new developers appeared and about half of the team working on Assassin's Creed was creating the game for the first time.

However, it's also important to note that after that, rumours began to circulate that Ubisoft considered Shadows to be the "weakest part of the series". However, no such quote has been found, so this part of the Shadows rumour should not be trusted.

And even if it is true that Shadows was the first game for half of the Assassin's Creed team, we would not rush to criticise it, but wait for the release and only then would we voice any complaints we have.

When We Can Expect It

Assassin's Creed Shadows will be released on 14 February on PC, Xbox Series, and PlayStation 5.
