Gray Zone Warfare features night operations and new weapons: the first major update for the realistic shooter has been released
Madfinger Games studio has unveiled the first major Night Ops update for the realistic Extraction shooter Gray Zone Warfare.
Here's What We Know
Czech developers have added a lot of interesting mechanics and features to the game, which are somehow related to light and time of day. For example, now players can start a sortie in the daytime and finish it in the deep night.
The balance is made in such a way that after two hours of real hours of light time, an hour of night follows.
In addition, Gray Zone Warfare has added the following innovations:
- players can control lighting - break lamps, switch on torches and use other interactive objects;
- night vision devices - laser designators and infrared lasers - have appeared in the game;
- several new weapons: MP5, Colt M1911, AKS-74U, AK-12, AK-15, AK-19, AK-308;
- the system of weapon and equipment wear and tear is implemented: if not repaired or serviced in time, the accuracy of shooting and killing power will decrease;
- donation boxes appeared at faction bases, where players can place unwanted items to be used by those who need them;
- as a reward for completing quests, players' vaults will be expanded and may become comparable to those received by purchasers of expensive Gray Zone Warfare editions;
- there are new quests and old missions have been changed. Failing a mission can now have consequences.
- New landing zones have been added.
The full list of changes can be found on the game's Steam page.
Due to the fact that the Night Ops update for Gray Zone Warfare turned out to be very large-scale, the developers had to zero out the progress of all players.
Let us remind you that Steam is running a large-scale "Autumn Sale" and Gray Zone Warfare is offered at a 20% discount.
