Dave the Diver's empire grows: indie hit sells 5 million copies

Dave the Diver was released in June 2023 and players loved it. The game even has 98% of positive reviews on Steam. And now it has become known how many copies of the indie adventure game about the life of a diver have been sold.

It is officially known that 5 million copies of Dave the Diver have been sold in a year and a half. And given that the game is included in the PS Plus Extra catalogue, there are even more virtual divers.

The authors of Dave the Diver want to expand this franchise by creating games of different genres dedicated to other characters.

Dave the Diver is a pixelated adventure indie game that tells the story of a carefree diver named Dave. During the day, he works as a diver and fishes, at night he works in an exotic sushi bar, and in between, he explores a mysterious marine civilisation. Thanks to this, half of the game is spent exploring the underwater world, fishing, and solving secrets. And the other half of the passage will feel like an arcade simulator of a sushi bar, where the financial success of the establishment depends on your work.
