Disc fans are out of luck: in the UK, some stores have raised the price of PlayStation 5 Pro disc drives due to a shortage

We wrote that resellers in the UK have bought up massive amounts of PS5 Pro drives and are selling them at an inflated price, creating a shortage. However, now regular stores have started to charge higher prices as well.

Here's What We Know

The official price of the drive in the UK is £99 ($80). Resellers sell them for £150-200. However, a new batch has now appeared in the British Currys chain of stores. But the price there is not £99, but £109. That is, even the stores have raised the price due to the shortage, but it is not critical yet, because they are asking for £10 more.

However, I want to believe that soon it will be possible to buy a disc drive for £99 in the UK again without any problems.
