PlayStation fans can be proud: Astro Bot was the most highly rated game on Metacritic and Opencritic in 2024

Gaming year 2024 is coming to an end. The only big game still waiting for us this year is Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. We already know about the candidates for the Game of the Year title at The Game Awards, but which game was the most highly rated?

Here's What We Know

On Metacritic and Opencritic , Astro Bot became the most highly rated game in 2024 .

On Metacritic, the Sony game has 94 points, and on Opencritic - 95.

Interestingly, the Elden Ring expansion pack Shadow of the Erdtree also received 94 points (2nd place). However, players rated the DLC at 8 points, while Astro received 9 points.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is in third place .

So, if we choose the game with the highest score among critics and players, the "gold" goes to the 3D platformer Astro Bot.
