I'll give up and go explore space: 5 temporary expeditions with rewards and interesting tasks await players in No Man's Sky
We wrote that No Man's Sky finally received "very favourable" reviews on Steam 8 years after its release. However, the authors do not stop giving new content to players and we are waiting for several temporary events.
Here's What We Know
The game will feature 5 expeditions. The first one started on 27 November, and the last one will end on 5 February 2025. Before we find out the details of each one, let's check out the calendar of events.
Omega: 27 November - 11 December
Adrift: 11 December - 25 December
Liquidators: 25 December - 8 January
Aquarius: 8 January - 22 January
The Cursed: 22 January - 5 February
The expeditions can be accessed through a terminal in the No Man's Sky shared space anomaly.
Omega will enable the bright Starborn starship. In Adrift, players find themselves alone in a universe where a haunted frigate known as the Ship of the Damned can be obtained. In Liquidators, you can get armour made of organic chitin. To do this, you will have to go on a star hunting trip for bugs.
Aquarius aims to introduce you to a new fishing system, and the reward is the Lost Fisherman fishing gear and an octopus-shaped badge on the dashboard of your ship.
The Cursed is a horror expedition where spectral entities await you. As a reward, you will receive a customised Cthulhu-style horror exosuit, bioluminescent pets, and the UFO-like starship Boundary Herald.
