The release of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 was a real disaster, but the developers put a lot of effort into fixing the flaws.

Here's What We Know

The Asobo Studio team reported that they have "99.999% solved the problems with the reliability of the servers" and gamers should have no problems connecting to them. Also, loading the game will no longer take several hours.

In their announcement, the team informed about their immediate plans:

  1. Some non-aviation content (such as airports, scenery, landscapes and more) from Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) are temporarily disabled in the 2024 game, as they were the ones causing long loading times, crashes and other issues. All content will be fully returned at a later date.
  2. A patch will be released next week that will include stability improvements and some other fixes.
  3. A larger patch is planned after 9 December. This update will add the ability for players to enable/disable individual products from the Marketplace at will, as well as a safe mode option that disables all third-party content.
