STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl has received its first major patch - over 650 bugs fixed, NPC behaviour improved and facial animations tweaked

GSC Game World studio has released the first post-release patch for the shooter S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl.
Here's What We Know
Patch 1.0.1 is available on PC and Xbox and fixes more than 650 bugs that affect all aspects of the game.
Ukrainian developers:
- fixed bugs causing game crashes related to memory allocation issues, especially in rendering, animations and cutscenes;
- eliminated some causes of hangs, including the problem with closing the trade window when using the gamepad;
- eliminated bugs blocking the completion of main quests, as well as problems with NPC behaviour and marker display;
- reworked some story quests;
- adjusted the cost of weapons with installed modifications;
- improved NPC behaviour during Throwdowns;
- fixed rare cases of missing facial animation, incorrect character positioning and other graphical bugs;
- improved the quality and stability of visual effects;
- task notifications will now be displayed correctly during dialogues;
- bugs in text descriptions and hints have been fixed.
Work on improving the technical state of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 continues and the developers will release several more major updates in the near future.
