Media: Intel will unveil a new line of graphics cards codenamed Battlemage as early as next week
Intel is preparing to unveil a new line of discrete graphics cards codenamed Battlemage and could do so as early as next week.
Here's What We Know
As reported by VideoCardz portal, Intel representatives in conversations with partners confirmed that the presentation of new graphics processors will take place on 3 December. According to the sources, the first presented graphics cards on Xe2-HPG architecture will be Arc B580 and Arc B570.
According to unconfirmed data, the sales of components will start on 12 December. On the same day, journalists and bloggers will have the opportunity to publish reviews of graphics cards, and buyers will be presented Limited Edition versions.
From the information available in the network we know that Arc B570 is based on BGM-G21 GPU and will get 18 Xe2 cores and support for PCI-E 5.0 x8 interface.
As for Arc B580, according to leaks it is based on BGM-G21, will have 20 Xe2 cores, 2.8GHz frequency, 12GB of GDDR6 memory with 19Gbps speed and maximum bandwidth of 456GB/s. The Arc B580 is expected to be priced at $249.
