The dystopian action game Lies of P was one of the major reveals of 2023 and attracted a lot of attention to Round 8 Studio and publisher Neowiz.

The developers promised to release an add-on to Lies of P in 2024, but their plans have changed and now Korean media has shared information about the companies' upcoming projects.

Here's What We Know

Korean press reports that the promised addition will be released in the first half of 2025, and in addition to it Round 8 Studio is working on a new game, which will be a sci-fi horror created on Unreal Engine 5.

It is mentioned that the management of Neowiz is not satisfied with a significant drop in sales and operating profit (by 21% and 68% respectively) for the third quarter of 2024 and the accompanying decline in shareholder value, so plans to increase the pace of new projects.

As a reminder, Lies of P is a dark interpretation of the fairy tale of Pinocchio's adventures in a city of deranged automatons. Korean developers delicately copied the style and gameplay elements of Bloodborne and competently integrated them into their own project.
