The global variant of Xiaomi 15 is already undergoing certification and getting ready for announcement
Xiaomi unveiled its flagship Xiaomi 15 series in China in October 2024 and now it has been revealed that the global version of the new product has appeared on the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) certification website, indicating an international launch is imminent.
Here's What We Know
According to information from the FCC database, the global version of the Xiaomi 15 will be available in two variants: with 12 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of inbuilt storage. Unlike the Chinese version, which offers up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of inbuilt storage, the global version may seem less appealing to users demanding maximum power.
The smartphone is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and will run on HyperOS 2.0, based on Android 15. It also gets a 6.36-inch LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 1200 x 2670 pixels. The cameras include three 50 MP sensors and the 5,400 mAh battery supports 90W fast charging. A global launch is expected in February or March 2025.
