Super capacity on the way: Oppo is developing smartphones with batteries up to 7,000 mAh
Oppo, according to a reliable source Digital Chat Station, is gearing up to launch smartphones with batteries with up to 7,000 mAh capacity.
Here's What We Know
Oppo's current flagship models, such as the Find X8 and X8 Pro, already feature batteries with a capacity of over 5,000 mAh through the use of silicon-carbon batteries. These batteries offer increased capacity while maintaining a compact size.
New leaks indicate that Oppo is further developing this technology by offering even higher capacity batteries. One variant of the upcoming phones will have a 6285 mAh battery, which will likely be rounded up to 6410 mAh for marketing purposes, while the other will have a 6850 mAh battery, rounded up to 7000 mAh. These devices are expected to support 80W SuperVOOC wired charging.
The leak also mentions that Xiaomi is developing a phone with a 7,000mAh battery, supporting 90W charging and powered by the Snapdragon 8s Elite or 8s Gen 4 chipset. However, it's worth noting that these details are yet to be officially confirmed.
