Samsung Galaxy Fold7 and Flip7 to get bigger displays in 2025

Samsung is preparing to launch foldable smartphones in 2025.

According to analyst Ross Young, the Galaxy Fold7 will receive new Fold Special Edition panels: 8-inch internal display and 6.5-inch external screen. The Galaxy Flip7 will also have larger screens - a 6.85-inch folding display and a 4-inch panel on the lid.

These changes are due to the slowdown in sales of the Flip6, especially in the US and China, where shipments in the third quarter of 2024 decreased by 10%. Nevertheless, the devices remain popular in Europe and Korea.

The foldable smartphone market is experiencing an overall decline in demand, but the situation is expected to change in 2026 after the release of Apple's first foldable smartphone.
