Xiaomi is preparing to release a new flagship, the 15 Ultra. It is expected to go on sale in February, although some sources point to a possible date in January.

Here's What We Know

A Digital Chat Station insider shared new details about the smartphone on the Chinese Weibo platform, although the post was later deleted.

The novelty will have a similar screen size to the 14 Ultra - 6.73 inches with a resolution of 1440x3200 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The display will have small roundings around the edges.

The main camera will have a 1-inch sensor with an aperture of f/1.63, but without the function of changing the aperture. The smartphone is also equipped with a 50 MP telephoto lens for short distances and a 200 MP periscope telephoto lens with a zoom of up to 4.3x.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra will support IP68 and IP69 certification for water and dust protection, as well as wireless charging.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra battery will have a capacity of 5,450mAh to 5,800mAh, which is less than the 6,000mAh of some competitors. This is due to the large size of the cameras and Xiaomi's desire to avoid excessive thickness of the device.
