No one will be scamming you: the authors of the free PvP game Marvel Rivals assured that only cosmetic items can be obtained for a donation

Marvel Rivals, a team-based PvP shooter developed by NetEase Games in collaboration with Marvel Games, will be released on 6 December. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. In Marvel Rivals, players will be able to choose different heroes of the Marvel universe and participate in 6v6 matches. And since it is a free-to-play game, people are worried that there will be a lot of donations, but the authors of the "Overwatch clone" in the style of Marvel say that their system will be different.
Here's What We Know
Paid elements will be related to cosmetic changes only, without bonuses to statistics or pay-to-play elements.
The game will have two main currencies: LATTICE (a gold currency that can be purchased) and UNITS (a blue currency that can be obtained for free through Battle Passes, achievements, and events). LATTICE can be exchanged for UNITS at a 1:1 ratio.
The standard price is $0.99 for 100 LATTICE, and the maximum price is $99.99 for 11,680 LATTICE.
Cosmetic items will be sold in the form of packages in the game store. The standard package will contain 5 items (costume, MVP animation, emoji, spray and name plate) with the option to purchase at a reduced price.
The Battle Pass will offer various cosmetic items. It costs 490 LATTICE and includes 5 costumes and other cosmetic items. The free Battle Pass will also provide one epic costume and other items.
Achievements and events will provide free costumes and cosmetic items, as well as free UNITS to buy paid cosmetic items without spending money.
And if the developers stick to this model, it will be a very cool solution that everyone will like.
