Samsung Galaxy gets vertical scrolling in the app list with One UI 7 update.

Here's What We Know

After many years of using a horizontal list of applications on separate pages, which has become the standard in most Android devices, the company has taken a step towards the popular format.

In the beta version of One UI 7, the home screen displays a vertical list of applications by default.

These changes are mandatory, and you can return to the previous version only by selecting the "Custom" sorting.

In addition, the update allows you to change the number of columns on the home screen (from four to five), adjust the size of icons, turn off app captions, and even turn off the app list itself, leaving only the home screen.
