Game Boy Advance style: Anbernic has unveiled its new portable retro game emulator RG34XX
Anbernic has announced a new portable emulator RG34XX, which looks like the classic Game Boy Advance console from Nintendo.
Here's What We Know
The device features a 3.4-inch IPS screen with 720x480 pixel resolution and supports emulation of games for PSP, Nintendo 64, Nintendo DS, Dreamcast and PlayStation 1. The RG34XX runs on the Linux operating system and has built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules, as well as mini HDMI and USB-C ports. There are 2 microSD card slots available for storing games and the operating system.
The device will be available in four colours: classic indigo, transparent green, transparent red and black. Unlike the original console, the RG34XX has additional action buttons and shoulder buttons, allowing you to play games from later systems. The device is expected to go on sale in early January 2025, priced between $50 and $75.
