Google starts testing "Help me create" feature powered by Gemini in Google Docs
Google Docs has had a "Help me write" feature for some time now, available to Google One AI Premium subscribers, that helps you edit your text using paraphrasing, summarising, and other features. However, the search giant didn't stop there, and recently introduced a new feature called Help me create.
Here's What We Know
According to the feature description, "Help me create" will allow you to "create formatted documents from scratch". The feature will be especially useful if you add files from your Google Drive using the "@" sign. The generated document can contain just text, images, lists, etc.
For example, you can ask Gemini to create a content plan for a healthy eating blog, prepare a plan with questions for a project meeting with colleagues, or create a financial report for your bakery for the first and second quarter of the year. Google itself recommends specifying "audience, purpose, and goals" when using the tool to get the best results.
It's worth noting that the feature is currently not available to all users, but if you have access to it, you can try it by going to File > New > Help me create. The company also has other similar tools, such as "Help me create a list" or "Help me organise" in Google Keep and Google Sheets, respectively.
