Game industry legend Hideo Kojima will be one of the co-hosts of The Game Awards 2024 - but will he show his games?
The Game Awards, the main show of the gaming industry, will take place next week. It will be a jubilee ceremony, where the audience is expected not only the awarding of the best games of the year and a lot of announcements, but also the appearance on the stage of celebrities of the game industry, cinema, music and other media.
Here's What We Know
Of course, an event of this level could not do without the presence of one of the most famous game designers of our time - Hideo Kojima.
Organiser and permanent host of The Game Awards Geoff Keighley confirmed that his close friend Hideo Kojima will not only take part in the show, but also become one of the co-hosts. This means that the famous developer will take to the stage to announce the nominees for the prestigious award in one or more categories.
Kojima is certainly worthy of gamers' attention, but the general public is undoubtedly more eager to see new trailers of his games, and he is, as a reminder, working on at least three new projects: Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, the innovative horror OD, and some kind of ambitious action game for Sony.
It's likely he'll bring at least a trailer of one game to Los Angeles, and the best chance it will be Death Stranding 2, as it's scheduled for release in 2025.
The Game Awards 2024 will kick off at 01:30 (CET) on 13 December.
