Losers of the year: the top ten lowest-rated games on Metacritic are determined

The worst game of 2024 according to critics was Bandai Namco's anime fighting game Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash. It is ironic and paradoxical that the same Japanese company is the publisher of the most highly appreciated project of the year - Shadow of the Erdtree add-on for Elden Ring.

Critics did not appreciate the unusual car simulator Taxi Life: A City Driving and arcade race Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown.

The fate of free psychological horror Silent Hill: The Short Message is also worthy of regret. Not all gamers appreciated and understood the new game of the famous franchise, which has little in common with its predecessors. But it can not be ignored that behind the boring and even primitive gameplay hides the right social message about the destructive influence of social networks and the Internet in general, which will be especially relevant for a young audience.
