Real photos of Google Pixel 9a confirm design changes for affordable smartphone
The first real photos of the Google Pixel 9a have appeared, confirming changes in the design of the affordable smartphone. The images were published on the X platform (formerly Twitter) by @feni_book.
Here's What We Know
The photos show both the front and back of the device.
On the front, the Pixel 9a retains a familiar design with a central selfie camera notch and narrow bezels. However, the back has changed: the phone has a square body with rounded corners, in contrast to the smooth lines of the Pixel 8a. The camera is no longer located in a horizontal strip, as in the Pixel 9, but has a vertical module with two sensors and a flash.
The back panel has a textured surface and an unusual logo location, as this is a test model. A sticker on the back of the phone confirms it as a Google device with the model number GTF7P.
The Pixel 9a will have a 6.3-inch screen with an adaptive refresh rate of 60-120 Hz, a Tensor G4 chipset, and a 5000 mAh battery.
It is expected that the camera will be reduced to 48 MP, and the phone will be IP68 water and dust resistant. There is no official confirmation from Google yet.
