Nearly 40 million people - gaming service Steam has set a new peak online record

Digital service Steam, which is the most popular gaming platform, has set a new record for the number of simultaneous users.

At the end of the weekend there were 39,205,447 people in Steam at the same time. The previous record was recorded in September 2024 - then the shop was visited by 38,367,277 people.

The achievement of a new milestone is due to the release of several online games that are very popular. Among them are tactical shooter Delta Force, online action game Marvel Rivals and isometric action-RPG Path of Exile 2, which is called "Diablo killer".

Steam's popularity is growing and there is little doubt that by the end of 2024 we will see a new landmark figure of 40 million one-time users.
