Samsung releases December security patch for Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 FE
Samsung has started rolling out the December security patch for Galaxy S24 series smartphones.
Here's What We Know
The Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra received an update last week with the One UI 7 beta. Now Samsung has released a separate security patch for devices that remain on Android 14 with One UI 6.1.1.
The Galaxy S24 FE, which does not support the One UI 7 beta programme, is also receiving the update. For the Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra, the update is available in Korea under firmware number S92xNKSS5AXKA. The Galaxy S24 FE receives the patch in Europe with the S721BXXS3AXK6 firmware number. By the way, Galaxy Fold 6 and Flip 6 are also being updated in Europe.
This update contains only security fixes. Samsung continues to test Android 15 and One UI 7 for the Galaxy S24, so no significant new features are expected before the official release of One UI 7.0.
How To Switch It On
To download the update, go to Settings, Software Update, Download and install.
