Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra main camera details revealed ahead of launch

New details about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra flagship, which will be presented in January, have appeared online.

Here's What We Know

The American version of the device (SM-S938U) was spotted in the Camera FV-5 database, which reveals the characteristics of the main camera.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra camera will have an equivalent focal length of 23.2 mm and an aperture of f/1.7. Photos will be taken in a resolution of 12.5 MP (4080×3060 pixels), and the sensor area is 71.9 mm².

According to preliminary data, the main camera will use a 200 MP sensor, just like its predecessor.

Thanks to 16-in-1 pixel binning technology, the main camera will capture 12.5 MP photos. The other cameras will include a 50 MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, a 10 MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom, and a 50 MP ultra-wide lens.

The flagship will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite chipset, will have a 5,000mAh battery and support 45W wired charging.
