New Redmi and OnePlus smartphones could get 7000 mAh batteries in 2025
According to the latest information from insider Digital Chat Station, next year's Redmi and OnePlus smartphones will feature 7,000mAh batteries. This is a significant increase over the current models, which already have batteries of 6,000 mAh and above.
Here's What We Know
The new devices will combine increased battery capacity and improved mobile chipset efficiency to deliver long battery life for even the most demanding users. The Redmi K90 series and OnePlus 14 are expected to be the first models with such batteries.
Thanks to the use of new silicon technology, the increase in battery capacity will not lead to a significant increase in the thickness of the devices, as current smartphones with 6000+ mAh batteries have not particularly undergone changes in body thickness.
The rumour source does not specify which models will receive the new batteries, but it is assumed that it will be the flagship devices of both companies.
