Apple releases updated RC versions of iOS 18.2 and macOS 15.2 with new features and bug fixes
Apple has released updated RC versions of iOS 18.2, macOS 15.2, and other beta software.
Here's What We Know
Apple has released new updates after the first RC versions (release candidates) that became available last week. These updates are now the last before the official public launch, which will take place in the coming days.
RC versions do not introduce new features, but are focused on bug fixes before the general release. The latest versions have the following build numbers: iOS 18.2 (22C151), macOS 15.2 (24C100), tvOS 18.2 (22K155), visionOS 2.2 (22N841).
The main innovations in iOS 18.2 include the second wave of Apple Intelligence features, including Genmoji for creating custom emojis, ChatGPT integration into Siri and texting tools, Image Playground for creating images, and much more. The Mail app will also be updated, Camera settings will be changed, and Find My will be able to share the location of items.
The update can be downloaded through the settings on devices that are already beta, or you can sign up for the public beta programme to access the new versions.
