Samsung to add AI-assisted video background sound removal to One UI 7.1

Samsung recently launched the beta version of One UI 7.0, and now we know about a new feature that will appear in the One UI 7.1 update.

Here's What We Know

According to a well-known insider from Weibo, Samsung will add the ability to remove background sounds in videos using artificial intelligence - AI Audio Eraser.

This feature will allow users to adjust the volume level of voices or other sounds. For example, you can amplify people's voices in a video recorded outdoors during strong winds and reduce traffic noise or gusts of wind. AI will be able to recognise common sounds and adjust their volume separately.

One UI 7.1 is expected to become available in 2025, probably alongside the Galaxy S25 series. It is possible that the new product will be exclusive to these devices.
