Google patents smartphones with display, speakers and eye tracking
Google is probably preparing for a new attempt to implement the smartglasses project, in particular thanks to a new patent for glasses with a built-in display, speakers, and eye tracking technology.
Here's What We Know
The patent was filed in China through the national intellectual property administration CNIPA.
These smartglasses will need to be connected to a smartphone to process data, which will help save battery power.
In addition to a display and speakers, the glasses are equipped with a microphone, cameras, and support voice control, taps, and gestures.
They will also use your location data to provide tips and navigation functions.
Although this is only a patent, the technology has already reached the necessary level for the successful implementation of smart glasses, and it is quite possible that such devices will appear on the market in the near future.
