DJI may announce Mini 5 in 2025

DJI is preparing to present a new Mini 5 drone model that will replace the Mini 4 Pro in the summer of 2025.

Here's What We Know

The official debut of the new drone is expected in the summer of 2025, after which the next stage will be the replacement of the more budgetary Mini 4K model.

According to sources, DJI Mini 5 will be equipped with additional sensors for obstacle detection located between the cameras. These will be LiDAR sensors, probably the same as in the Air 3S model.

In addition, the new drone will be equipped with more powerful motors with ventilation, which will improve its efficiency.

It is indicated that the weight of the model will not exceed 249 g.
