The Casio G-Shock G-B001SF-7JR has been discontinued in Japan 18 months after its launch.

Here's What We Know

The model was introduced in July 2023 and was based on the original DW-001 model with the Capsule Tough design, which appeared in 1994.

The cost of the watch was ¥18,700 (approximately $123).

The watch is currently listed as "Discontinued" on Casio's website in Japan, but other models in the series are still available for purchase. However, two other models in the series, the DW-B5600SF-7JF and GA-B001SF-7AJF, are still available in that country. In addition, other devices in the DW-001 series, such as the G-B001RG-3JR and G-B001RG-4JR, also remain on sale.

Among the main features of the G-B001SF-7JR are Bluetooth support with the Casio Watches app for automatic time setting and phone search.

The watch also features a stopwatch, five alarms, a countdown timer, and Super Illuminator for easy use in the dark.
