Samsung has introduced a new model of the Galaxy Book 5 Pro laptop, which runs on the Intel Lunar Lake platform.

Here's What We Know

The Galaxy Book 5 Pro does not have a feature like the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360, where the screen can be rotated 360 degrees. However, this laptop is equipped with a Dynamic AMOLED 2X touchscreen, which has improved glare reduction and better image quality.

The laptop supports Microsoft Copilot+ and uses a built-in NPU to process up to 47 TOPS.

This laptop uses Galaxy AI technology. One of these features is Circle to Search, which is a technology that allows you to select any part of an image on the screen and search for that part using artificial intelligence. For example, you can select a certain object in a photo or text on the screen, and Galaxy AI will offer relevant information or options for further action.

In addition, the laptop is equipped with a "precise" photo enhancement tool that uses artificial intelligence to improve the quality of images. The tool can automatically adjust the colour, contrast and sharpness of an image, correcting defects or improving the overall picture to make it look clearer and brighter.

The Galaxy Book 5 Pro is equipped with four Dolby Atmos speakers and has a battery life of up to 25 hours on a single charge. The new product will go on sale in South Korea on 2 January 2025 in 14 and 16-inch versions. Prices for the model have not yet been announced.
