Huawei has unveiled the global version of its foldable smartphone Mate X6 in Dubai. The device has almost the same specs as its Chinese version, but still there are differences between them.

Here's What We Know

The global version of the Mate X6 is different in that it has only one memory configuration - 12/512GB. The Chinese version is offered in two RAM and three permanent memory options. The second difference is that the global version will not come with the latest HarmonyOS NEXT system, which is completely Android-free. Instead, it will be stitched in with the regular Android-based version of HarmonyOS, which everyone has known for a while now and which is still just as devoid of Google services. Otherwise, the characteristics of these smartphones do not differ.

The global Mate X6 also features a 7.93-inch LTPO OLED main display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and 1800 nits brightness and a 6.45-inch outer screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 2500 nits brightness. The smartphone is 9.9mm thick when folded and 4.6mm thick when unfolded. The weight of the device is 239 grams. It too is powered by Kirin 9010 processor and supports wired and wireless charging with 66W and 50W respectively.

Globally, the Huawei Mate X6 will be available in three colours: Nebula Red, Black and Nebula Gray. The price of the device has not been announced yet, but it is expected to be known soon.
