YouTube TV raises prices: basic plan will cost $82.99 from January 2025

YouTube TV has announced a price increase. From 13 January 2025, the basic tariff will rise from $72.99 to $82.99 per month.

The price increase is explained by rising content costs and investments in service improvements. YouTube promises to add new features, including unlimited storage for recordings and the ability to watch multiple channels simultaneously.

Users who subscribe to the basic plan will see the new price on their first bill after 13 January 2025. For those who use a trial or promotional subscription, the price will remain unchanged. In addition to the basic plan, additional features can be added, such as 4K viewing for $9.99, premium channels starting at $1.99, NFL RedZone for $10.99, and more.

Since its launch in 2018, the price of YouTube TV has increased from $35 to $72.99.
