Mark your calendar: in January, FromSoftware will open enrolment for the first test of Elden Ring: Nightreign
Today there was a surprise announcement of co-op game Elden Ring: Nightreign, which will be a standalone spin-off of the best game of 2022.
FromSoftware studio is not slowing down and has already announced the first technical testing.
Here's What We Know
The Japanese studio announced that in February, users of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series (PC is not announced yet) will be able to participate in testing the network functions of the game.
To be among the invitees, you need to apply for participation and this opportunity will open from 10 January.
As a reminder, Elden Ring: Nightreign is designed for co-operative play with up to three people. The concept and style of Elden Ring remains unchanged, but now players will visit an alternative version of the Lands Between, which is under a new threat. There will be a lot of new mechanics and magic abilities in the action game, and the heroes will become much more mobile than in the original game.
When We Can Expect It
Elden Ring: Nightreign will be released in 2025 on PC (Steam), PlayStation and Xbox.
