Capcom and Hideki Kamiya present: sequel to the cult action-adventure game Okami announced

Not so long ago the famous Japanese game designer Hideki Kamiya - the author of Devil May Cry and Bayonetta series - said that he would be grateful to Capcom, if the company would give him the opportunity to release a sequel to his little-known, but cult in narrow circles action-adventure game Okami (2006). And today it became known that the developer's wish has come true!

At The Game Awards 2024 we heard an announcement, which is still under the name "Okami sequel". The short teaser is not informative, but it makes it clear that its game director is again Hideki Kamiya and it will retain the visual style and atmosphere of the original game.

It is also clear that in the centre of the story will again be the Sun Goddess Amaterasu, who in the game is presented in the form of a white she-wolf.
