Specifications and photos of Vivo Y300 5G smartphone with three speakers with a total power of 4.5W revealed ahead of the announcement

Vivo is gearing up to launch its new Y300 5G smartphone in China in a few days and portal WHYLAB has shared preliminary specs and images of the device ahead of the announcement.

Here's What We Know

According to the leak, the smartphone features a 6.77-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2392 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The brightness of the screen reaches 1300 nits and protection is provided by Diamond Shield glass. The screen also features an optical fingerprint scanner and a cutout for the 8-megapixel front camera. On the back, there is a 50 MP main camera (Samsung S5KJNS) and a 2 MP depth sensor.

The standout feature of the device is the massive speaker, developed in collaboration with AAC Technologies, located in the centre of the camera island. The smartphone also features top and bottom speakers creating a three-way matrix with a peak power output of 4.5 watts. Inside, the device sports a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset with 8/12GB of RAM and 128/256/512GB of inbuilt storage. The 6500mAh battery supports 44W wired charging. The smartphone will run on OriginOS 5.
