Samsung has announced its first XR glasses that will run on the Android XR operating system.

Here's What We Know

This device supports both eye and hand tracking and will be compatible with the first motion controllers developed by the company. This provides more accurate and reliable control compared to other navigation methods.

The motion controllers will work directly with Android XR, making it easy to transfer VR apps from other platforms to the new Samsung glasses. This will also ensure compatibility with thousands of existing VR games and apps.

Samsung also confirmed that its XR glasses will be the first device to run Android XR. With a prototype already demonstrated, we can expect even more improvements before the launch in 2025.
